Hello, and welcome to my official campaign website!

My name is Chyanne Lockhart Cardarella and I am running for the Missouri House of Representatives in the 52nd district. I am the only candidate running in this district with experience working directly with legislators at the state level. I have also been active with a variety of local non-profit and advocacy groups in the local area, region, and state. I am dedicated to serving the interests of the community, and committed to work with you to make a difference in the district.

In these challenging times, we need a proactive leader with state legislative experience who can hit the ground running in Jefferson City to advocate on your behalf. I am ready to fight for better funding for public education, rebuilding the local economy, investing in renewable energy resources, and increasing access to affordable healthcare.

Please take a moment to search this website and find out more about the campaign. Become a part of the team that believes real leadership comes from service to others. If you have any questions, please give me a call. If you live in the district, I will be meeting with you soon.

Get Out The Vote
Many supporters want to know what they can do to help Chyanne in the final days before the election. The two main ways you can help her are listed below, and only take a few minutes by picking up the phone or walking next door.
#1. Vote, and make sure everyone you know votes by volunteering to drive your neighbors, family members and friends to the polls on Tuesday, August 3rd. It is so important for us to elect leaders who are invested in the community, and care about the jobs, schools, families and children in them.
#2. Word of mouth still goes a long way - so spread the word! Call your friends and family members who live in the Independence, Kansas City and Lee's Summit area, and tell them why you support Chyanne. Ask them to support her too, and see if they want a free yard sign. If you drive around the district in the neighborhoods, you can see where groups of supportive voters have talked to their neighbors and turned a line of houses or block blue with Chyanne's signs. Name recognition and visibility go a long way to help voters remember that they've met Chyanne, and share her values of hard work and community service. Since Chyanne is a local candidate, you have most likely found out that you know one of her family members, or friends from a civic group or church. When you want your views taken seriously in Jefferson City, there is an advantage to knowing the candidate personally.

Upcoming Events

Legislative Forums

Stop by to ask Chyanne questions on state legislative policy on July 21st at Lee’s Summit West High School, located at 2550 S.W. Ward Road at 6:30pm. The forum is sponsored by the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, and all candidates running in the 52nd district have been invited to participate. At the previous two legislative forums on July 7th and 8th, Chyanne was the only Democratic candidate that took the time to meet with voters and discuss issues that concern them. She believes the best way your elected officials can represent your concerns is by being accessible and available. She is committed to stand by that value when elected.

Neighborhood Coffee

You are invited to Chyanne’s final neighborhood coffee before the election scheduled for July 26th from 6-9:00pm. The event will be hosted by The Hahn Family at their home, located at 1420 Woodbury St., in Independence, MO. This is an opportunity to speak with Chyanne about your community concerns and what you would like her to work on when elected. This is a casual event, and not a fundraiser. Light refreshments will be served.

S’mores in the Park

Between 7 and 9pm, stop by Glendale Park located off of Lee’s Summit Road on July 29th to visit with Chyanne at her final community outreach event. She is excited to meet with you in the final days before the August 3rd Primary Election, and answer any last minute questions you may have. If you are unable to attend, but have an issue you would like to discuss with her, she invites you to give her a call at 816-225-4891.
